This page explains what happens to the mobile number you give me. It is deliberately short, because I collect very little.

Who I am

Thomas Payne, a private Maths and Physics tutor based in Solihull, United Kingdom. You can reach me at tomjpayne2000@gmail.com.

What I collect

• The mobile number you type into the form on this site.
• The date you submitted it.

That is all. I do not ask for your name, your address, your child's name or their school.

Why I use it

Only to text you and arrange the free fifteen-minute call you asked for, and to follow up about tuition if we agree on the call that it is worth it. I do not add you to a marketing list, and I never sell, rent or share your number with anyone else.

How long I keep it

If we do not end up working together, I delete your number within six months. If we do, I keep it while I am tutoring your child and for one year afterwards.

Stopping the texts

Reply STOP to any message, or email me, and I will delete your number the same day.

Advertising and analytics

I run adverts on Facebook and Instagram. This site does not currently load any analytics or advertising tracking. If I add Meta's pixel later it will tell Meta that someone reached the page and whether they submitted the form, never your phone number, and I will update this notice before it goes live. Your browser's cookie or tracking-protection settings apply here as they do anywhere else.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to my using it. Just email me. If you are not happy with how I have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
