This page explains what happens to the mobile number you give me. It is deliberately short, because I collect very little.
Who I am
Thomas Payne, a private Maths and Physics tutor based in Solihull, United Kingdom. You can reach me at tomjpayne2000@gmail.com.
What I collect
- The mobile number you type into the form on this site.
- The date you submitted it.
That is all. I do not ask for your name, your address, your child's name or their school.
Why I use it
Only to text you and arrange the free fifteen-minute call you asked for, and to follow up about tuition if we agree on the call that it is worth it. I do not add you to a marketing list, and I never sell, rent or share your number with anyone else.
How long I keep it
If we do not end up working together, I delete your number within six months. If we do, I keep it while I am tutoring your child and for one year afterwards.
Stopping the texts
Reply STOP to any message, or email me, and I will delete your number the same day.
Advertising and analytics
I run adverts on Facebook and Instagram. This site loads Meta's pixel, which tells Meta that someone reached the page and whether they submitted the form. It does not tell Meta your phone number. You can control this in your Facebook ad settings, and your browser's cookie or tracking-protection settings apply here as they do anywhere else.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to my using it — just email me. If you are not happy with how I have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
